Palette sets no first-party cookies.
We do not use cookies for authentication, session management, personalization, or any other purpose on our own infrastructure. The absence of a Palette backend means there is nothing to track between your visits from our end.

Google Analytics (Analytics)
We use Google Analytics to measure aggregate usage of the Site — pages visited, session duration, and general geographic patterns. We have enabled IP anonymization, which means Google truncates IP addresses before they are stored.
Google Analytics cookies (including _ga and _gid) identify unique browser sessions for aggregate counting purposes. These cookies do not identify you personally. The _ga cookie persists for up to 2 years; _gid expires after 24 hours.

Strictly necessary cookies are required for a site to function. Palette has none because it requires no login, session management, or server-side state. You cannot opt out of strictly necessary cookies without breaking a site's functionality — but since Palette has none, there is nothing to opt out of.
Analytics cookies allow us to understand how the Site is used in aggregate. These can be disabled without affecting your ability to use the Site.
Cookie Consent
If you are located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with consent requirements under applicable law (including the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR), Palette displays a cookie consent banner when you first visit the Site. The banner allows you to accept or decline non-essential cookies (analytics).
Accepting the banner provides consent for Google Analytics cookies. Declining means those cookies will not be set.
