We aim to respond to all messages within 5 business days. We read every email, even if the response is sometimes brief.
What to Include
Depending on why you're writing, a few specifics help us respond quickly and usefully:
Bug reports: Describe what you were doing when the issue occurred, what you expected to happen, and what actually happened. If there's an error message, include it. Browser and device type are also helpful.
Feature requests: We love hearing what people want. Be as specific as you can — not just "I'd like more seasons" but "I'd like guidance on determining my sub-season when my hair is color-treated." Specific requests become better features.
Press and partnerships: Tell us who you are and what you have in mind. We're open to relevant editorial partnerships, product collaborations, and media coverage.
Privacy and legal requests: If you have a GDPR or CCPA request (access, deletion, or other rights), please say so explicitly in the subject line. We will respond within the legally required timeframe. The data we hold on you is described in the privacy policy — in most cases that's an account record (if you signed up) and ninety days of usage events. Requests about data held by third parties (Google Analytics, Supabase, OpenAI) need to go to those providers directly, and we can guide you to the right form.
Account deletion: If you signed up for an account and want it deleted, email us from the address on file with the subject line "Delete my account" and we will remove your account, your saved analyses, and your usage records within thirty days. If you only used the site without signing up, your usage record (a hashed session id and timestamps — no personal data) is auto-deleted after ninety days and there is nothing to manually remove. For data held by Google (via Analytics), those requests should go to Google directly, and we can provide guidance on how to do that.
Generation errors: If a generation fails repeatedly, try a different portrait — well-lit, front-facing, no heavy filters — or wait a moment and try again. If you keep hitting errors, send us the timestamp and we'll look into it.
Rate limit questions: Free generations reset every twenty-four hours. If you've exceeded a window, the timer is shown in your account. If you have a use case that needs higher limits, get in touch — we may add paid tiers in the future.
What We Can't Help With
We are not able to provide certified color analysis consultations, dispute analysis results with professional color analysts, or advise on purchasing decisions. For certified analysis, we recommend finding a trained Sci\ART analyst in your area.
Response Times
We aim to respond within 5 business days for general inquiries and within the legally required windows for privacy and legal matters. During periods of high volume, it may take slightly longer — we'll always acknowledge receipt if a delay is expected.
